Tracks are logarithmic; type an exact figure into any field. Lineage, history and the source catalogue are free and a no-match is never billed, so this overstates a real bill slightly.

What happens when I run out?
On Developer, the API returns 429 and nothing is charged — there is no way to accidentally spend money on the free tier. On paid plans, overage bills at the plan's per-1,000 rate and you can set a hard cap or an alert threshold per key.
Do I pay again for the same company every month?
No. Once a record is resolved you hold the entity ID; keeping it current is what Watch is for, at 0.05 credits per delivered event — 20,000 events per 1,000 credits. A 500,000-account CRM typically costs one large batch up front and a few thousand events a month after that.
Is there a discount for annual commitment?
Two months free on annual prepay for Team and Business. Enterprise volume tiers begin at 10M credits a year and price per-thousand rather than per-plan.
Can we run it inside our own network?
Yes, on Enterprise. A VPC-peered deployment in eu-central-1 keeps the query path inside your perimeter; the entity graph is replicated to it hourly. Fully air-gapped delivery is a bulk-file arrangement rather than an API one.
How do you price bulk extracts?
Full-jurisdiction extracts and daily deltas start at €18,000 per year for one Tier 1 jurisdiction, and are usually bought alongside API access rather than instead of it.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits reset on the first of the billing month and unused ones expire — we would rather price the plan low than run a balance sheet of your leftovers. Annual prepay buys twelve monthly allocations, not one large pot, so the same rule applies.
What happens if we change plan mid-cycle?
Upgrades take effect immediately and we pro-rate the difference on the next invoice; the new allowance applies to the whole month, so an upgrade never costs you overage you already incurred. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
Are prices VAT-inclusive?
No — all prices are net, excluding VAT. Spotit Ltd invoices from Dublin in EUR. EU business customers with a valid VAT ID are reverse-charged; Irish customers are billed 23% VAT; customers outside the EU are billed net. USD and GBP invoicing is available on annual contracts.
Is there a discount for startups or academic research?
Team is free for a year for companies under 10 people and under €1M raised. Academic researchers get the labelled SPOT-Bench set and 1M credits a year under a research agreement.
